SIEF

Joint submission

SDIOConsortium is managing the joint submission of 16 substances for the EU REACH registrations in 2010, 2013 and 2018 as well as the maintenance and mandatory updates of each dossier. The Secretariat of the SDIOC is acting as facilitator on behalf of the respective lead registrants for each of the substances in the SDIOC portfolio.

Prospective registrants can purchase a Letter of Access (LoA) from the SDIOC for any of the substance in the SDIOC portfolio. A LoA will grant the permission to refer to the technical dossier for the specific purpose of REACH registration in the EU. As a Chemical Safety Report (CSR) is part of the technical dossier, it can be included in the data package. The costs of a LoA are recalculated every two years by SDIOC and a reimbursement exercise is conducted.

Data use outside the EU

If you require access to data compiled in our dossiers under the EU REACH regulation for use under non-EU legislation (e.g., UK Reach, K-Reach, KKDIK, Biocidal products, etc.) please contact us. We have agreements in place to negotiate access to SDIOC owned data for the use outside the EU. For further information please contact the Sulfur Dioxide Based Chemicals REACH Consortium (SDIOC) via email SIEF@SDIOConsortium.com.

The SDIOC is acting as SIEF facilitator for SDIOC member pre-registrants who indicated their willingness at Pre-Registration to conduct this activity for the substances listed on this page.
